Daily communication with my team


The only way of communication with the team is in a stand up meeting where people raise issues and exchange information

Although there are many things going on in HR very few of them can be openly discussed due to sensitivity. It’s not ideal to inform people on how many disciplinaries you have had lately. It’s even more difficult to think and provide answers to the operative issues people are raising and translate them in HR aspects and implications immediately. Then, my line manager who hosts this meeting disappears although he promises he is going to pick up with me the critical issues. It does not happen only in a reactive way. But he expects me to become the trusted person line mangers would come to, to coach them to prevent conflicts and inappropriate behaviours.
